|
|
Hi all,
Total newbie here, so go easy please.
I have a Garmin IQUE 3600 and would like to put the speed camera database onto my unit. I have had a good look round this and various other related websites but can find no info relating to my particular model. Is this possible? If so what software would I require and how do I load it?
Thanks in advance for any help.

This mentions compatibility with the Palm-based iQue 3000, so this might mean that it supports the 3600 as well. |
A further quote from one who knows:-
Quote: | The 3200, 3600 and 3600a does not support custom POIs, as they're defined in this context. The new 3000, which has an entirely different navigation software, does.
But the old POIloader didn't support the 3000, hence that part of the upgrade. Previously, it couldn't prepare a POI file which was supposed to be Hotsynced. |

It is totally possible for the iQue to operate the SpeedCamera Database.
However, 8000 POI will slow up the unit, so I only use part of the Database [south of a line Aberystwyth to the East Coast]
I have both an audible and visual warning.
As the listed procedure is part of a more 'specialist' forum for the iQue, it could be against this website's rules for me to post the address here!
However, you can make contact by Private Message. |
