POI, Camera Alerts on Quest 2

Hi everyone, I`m new on this site.

Will be buying a Quest 2 soon, have a question concerning POI and camera warnings. If you just travel without setting a route, do the Gatso camera warnings still flash up on a particular road your on driving on, or only if you set a route.

The proximity POI's will always warn you, even when not routing.
