|
|
Just got an i3 and I think it's great.
Strange question though.
Is it possible to remove Speed Cameras from the unit (No I'm not going mad).
Have updated teh Speed Camera POI and it works great, a bit too great. Late last year there were roadworks on the M3 and the nice roadwork people put in Speed Cameras. These are in the POI. However the Roadworks are now gone, and so are the Cameras, but my i3 keeps telling me to slow down to 50 on an open stretch of Motorway. Is there a way to remove these individual cameras but keep the rest installed?
Many thanks. |

You'd have to open the original csv file in Excel. Delete the offending lines and reload the file back into your i3. |

Or...
As they are cameras in roadworks then maybe they are in the "temp" file (as in there is one for GATSO, SPECS, REDLIGHT and TEMPorary cameras). Just reload your speed cameras without the temp database. |

Presumably the name i.e. GATSO:6501 ties in with the third value in the csv? |

Yes. So if you note the numbers of the cameras it's detecting you can search for them and delete them. |

Also submit the fact those cameras need deleting to the database owner so subsequent updates will have them removed too.... |
