Default to Map View on i3/i5?

Hello all,

Has anyone found a way for the i3 or i5 to default to the map view instead of the Where To? view? When I turn my car on it starts automatically, the warning screen times out after a minute or so and then it goes to the Where To? view.

If I don't need help navigating on the trip (more often than not), I would prefer to view the map, not a dialog screen. I have to scroll down one to View Map and hit the wheel. I'm too lazy to do that

Any ideas?

ta for that - very handy when i3 is in a freezer bag on a motorbike and you have already put thick gloves on and scroll wheel is fiddly!
