I've been reading and enjoying this forum for months (contributed once and received helpful advice) but I've noticed the same questions being asked time and time again by people who, it seems, can't be bothered to read earlier topics. Please, to save time and space, read the supplied manual, download and read the on-line manual, try to sort out your own problem and only when all else fails - post a new topic.

Sugestion (but first - I am not very computer or TomTom literate. I have a 700 (ie no SD card) and until very recently I thought SDK was short for "Scardycat") I've read and re-read the beginers guides etc to "Saftey Camera" installation and I still get lost especially when I then read pages and pages of corrections and questions and answers and more suggestions.

Could someone write, for numb-sculls like me (I'm sure there are more out there), a definative, step-by-step, guide to installing things, and I mean "back to basics". Screen shots would help or, at the very least, a description of what should happen and be seen when certian buttons are pressed. Clarification on how to download and unzip the original file would be a good start and more advice on which set up to install - I presume that on the 700 there is no doubt that the full set of speed zoned cameras etc would fit without problem.

I'm not going to pretend that I'm asking all this on behalf of "a friend", it's for me. Thanks and a "Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year" to you all.

They would fit yes but how many would show up will depend on how many other POI you have and what software version your using.

If you using the old software versions (pre 5.402) you can only hold 27 and on a go700 that pretty dismal seeing a full set of speed zoned files uses up about 4/5ths of this.

mjandar, welcome (oh dear, why am I on here now, its xmas day!)

?Have you already read
Arrow The beginner’s guide to the PocketGPSWorld camera database.

and
Arrow How to install (camera database) POIs onto a TomTom GO, Rider, or One.

if not, they are a good place to start, if a bit long and involved; but they contain everything to get you up and running.
If you've got any further questions post back again (or just tell us you've cracked it Smile )
