Quest 1 vs Quest 2

Has anyone compared the Quest1 with the Quest2, speed wise? I'm wondering if the Quest2 has a faster processor to allow it to do 3D mapping and POI alerts or if it is basically the same hardware with more memory.

The Quest2 has no 3d mapping (thank God!) and is a bit slower than the Quest1 unfortunatelly. My guess is the same hardware, just more memory.
