just bought an i3 today and although it has some Europe maps in the V8 maps included I really want something to cover Spain.

Can anyone tell me where/how I get them and what I do to load them.

also, can I make the i3 SHOW me POI as I pass them rather just having to search for them.

garmin are planning to bring out seperate transflash cards with different country's maps pre-loaded but there are no set dates for these yet.

other people have reported that buying a new transflash card and adaptor (i.e. usb card reader) and buying a copy of mapsource you can load country maps onto a new card and get routing too. someone did it when they went on holiday to italy but i can't remember who.. possibly geckogirl?

not unless you load all of them with proximity alerts, in which case you would get a beep at a certain distance every time you went near a poi and the icon would show on screen. it could get annoying though!
