|
|
Has anyone else found lots of irritating bugs in the c310 which ruins an otherwise great system. All the bugs that I've found to date can be replicated on more than one unit so the problem is with the software which is the latest that is available. The bugs I have found are
c310 hanging
In the 'Select City/Postal Code’ menu if the list has more than 4 items pressing the down arrow can cause the system to hang. The only way around this little gem is to power down the unit.
c310 looping
Search for a street using 'Search All' (not Spell City/Postal Code), ignore house number, enter steet name. Sometimes, not always, depending on the street you are searching, hitting the 'Back' button reloads the results - in other words you can't move back up the menu tree.
c310 results
On more than a few occassions, the search results screen is blank!
I'd be interested to know if anyone else has encountered these problems.
ps. I am using the c310 in the Republic of Ireland where there is no postcode system so all searching is via street name ...
If enough people complain perhaps garmin will do something about it. |
