Anyone know when any updates are planned for the V3 maps?

The (new) A120 around Stanstead was open before V3 was released, but isn't shown - would be good to get this road included. As would the bypass around Selby!

I emailed Navman Europe this same question - it took a while for the answer, but they replied:

With reference to your enquiry, we are expecting the latest Software & Maps to be stock within the next few weeks, these will appear on our website as soon as they are available.
Kind regards

They shipped me 2004.2 with ST2005 software. I had 2003 maps with V2!

You're lucky!
I installed the updated software exactly as per the instructions - and now the ICN 610 doesn't work at all - when you switch it on, it flashes the USB connection symbol.
Strange how these things go wrong when the support is closed.....

It was my error - whoops! Embarassed
When you install the new software - you have to uninstall the old software.
Next step starts the installation process and adds a new driver.
You have to wait for the computer to find the driver, otherwise the maps appear to load - but don't.
All is fine now.
Incidentally, I had to nip out quick and buy a new SD card - PC world have 512MB cards at £19.99 which was pretty reasonable...
The maps are as uptodate as they can be - there are still some roads missing, but then I think bearing in mind that is always going to be the case.
I particularly liked the option of adding "MY HOME ADDRESS" as a fixed destination. Makes it easier to get home.
