I've noticed that if you hold down the left hand button whilst switching on an i3 you get various items of technical data.

It includes items such as software version number and time but also signal (strength?), frequency, temperature and reset (whatever this is recording - seems to be a time measurement). It also has system test data and something called 'Vexternal'.

What do we know about how this data may be used?

There was an earlier thread discussing this, see "i3 debug / service / sat info"

Could someone please tell me if you get the position/info of the satellites when you go to the satellite section of the diagnostics? I just get a blue circle with '16' where north should be and a series of vertical lines down the right side, no satellites or info. Many Thanks.
