Hi,
IS there a downloadable database of ATM's that I can use as POI's on my quest?
Many Thanks
(Europe as well as UK would be even better!!!) |

As no one has responded to this I guess the answer must be no, but out of interest I've e-mailed the technical support section of my on-line bank to see if they have any data. I'll update here when (if) i get a reply from them

Well, there was bad news from the bank, they couldn't give me any data.
Here's a couple of interesting links I found when subsequently browsing the web though..
http://visa.via.infonow.net/locator/global/jsp/SearchPage.jsp
http://www.mastercard.com/atmlocator/index.jsp
The Visa one looks better as you quickly get to see maps. Maybe an option would be to find a few strategically placed ATM's from one of these websites (on your proposed route) and manually enter them into the GPS before each journey. The other option of course is to just head for any town centre on your route, where there's a good chance of finding one.
