cant find satellite anywhere!

Hi
I just got my Garmin i3 and ive updated it with the dummies guide.

I am at home and turned unit on, it has been on a while and gets no signal and cant locate a satellite.

why is this?

help!!

if your in the house it wont pick up any signals

You should find though that after a while it asks if you are indoors, surely that would have given it away?

They need to be able to see the sats...........

I have found if I sit on my chair near the window it gets a good signal, and that is through a modern double glazed window, my old icn510 never did!
