And after reading a few hundred posts you will find that the answer the zogman is trying to give you is "No" but the TomTom has bluetooth and they have a TomTom Rider coming out soon which is waterproofed especially for bikers.

Oh, and Welcome to the Forums, loggs. Do check out the motorcycle forum, we are quite a friendly bunch there. Wink

Because traditionally, Garmin's GPS units have been ideal for use on bikes. :D

They even sell them as manufacturer's branded accessories for BMW (I think Triumph and Harley-Davidson offer them as an accessory too).

The i3 and Cxxx series Garmins are not well suited to bikes but the Street Pilot 2610, Quest (I and II), and the now obsolete Street Pilot III and GPS-V are waterproof, robust and they work well on bikes.

Don't get too hung up about needing voice, I don't bother with it when using my Quest on the bike. It takes a little bit of getting used to but I don't really miss the voice for the most part.

You can get a Garmin cradle for the 26xx, 27xx or Quest which will allow you to have power and a speaker/earphone if you want it.
