As a matter of interest, which TT do you have?

Try adding just 1 POI to the TT and see if you can see it.

Are you able to select the built-in POI's? Can you see then in Browse Map?

Lastly, which files are you actually copying?

Are you saying that I need to copy and paste every single one invidividually i.e pocketgps_uk_gatso_30.ov2 and then the same with 40.ov2. As opposed to copying the folder that they are all in i.e 'ov2 and bmp files'

I have this list on my GO

pocketgps_uk_gatso_20.ov2
pocketgps_uk_gatso_30.ov2
pocketgps_uk_gatso_40.ov2
pocketgps_uk_gatso_50.ov2
pocketgps_uk_gatso_60.ov2
pocketgps_uk_gatso_70.ov2
pocketgps_uk_gatso_tba.ov2
pocketgps_uk_gatso_var.ov2
pocketgps_uk_mobile_20.ov2
pocketgps_uk_mobile_30.ov2
pocketgps_uk_mobile_40.ov2
pocketgps_uk_mobile_50.ov2
pocketgps_uk_mobile_60.ov2
pocketgps_uk_mobile_70.ov2
pocketgps_uk_mobile_tba.ov2
pocketgps_uk_temp.ov2
pocketgps_uk_specs.ov2
pocketgps_uk_redlight.ov2

You can copy them in one go, but don't copy them and leave them inside their own folder!

And you need the identical .bmp files

They all go individually into the map folder.

Yes. You need to copy a .ov2 file and a .bmp file for every POI you want to use on the TT. TT only searches the basic map folder for .ov2 and cannot search within a Folder.

If you use the Speed Zoned Files there are 18 sets for the GB Map.

Finally I think I understand. I will delete the folders I have put in and then copy and paste as you say I presume by highlighting each one. Will do later as power has now gone on tomtom - waiting for an adapter to arrive! The 300 doesnt come with an ac adapter :x Will recharge in car and try later. Will post reply as to how it goes. Should be ok now hopefully. Thanks for all your help.

Have just looked through folders and see exactly what you mean now. Will copy from speed zoned folder and then from ov2 and bmp folder for the temp, specs and redlight etc. Thanks again so much - sure it will be ok and feel a little stupid now it makes sense. Cheers

Just to say thanks to you I have now successfully downloaded the speed cameras etc onto my tomtom. Took very little time once I had grasped how to do it with your help. The next thing I will do soon is see if I can use my Samsung D500 with it. I will leave that for now but may need help at a later stage. Hopefully will be ok to do on my own.
Thanks again Wink

been following the instructions on how to download speed camera info, but it seems I've downloaded it to the tomtom but not into the GB maps folder, and I can't delete it, when I try to move or delete it, it freezes my pc and I can only turn it off, what am I doing wrong?

What Go model? Does it have an SD card or is it a 700?

What computer and system?

If you have an SD card, can you check the size of the files on it? Maybe in a card reader? If you have too much stuff on the card it can cause problems as the system needs some spare space to work.
