How do I get Mapinstall

Got my i3 a few days ago followed the installation via cd, but no sign of Mapinstall on pc. Whare / how do I get it ?

you can get the garmin poi loader from the garmin site..dont know what 'mapinstall' is...

Was this information about mapinstall on the usb driver cd that you got with the i3?

I believe mapinstall is for thr ique series onlly.

Mapinstall is mentioned (and explained) in the full i3 user guide PDF, downloadable from http://www.garmin.com/manuals/917_OwnersManual.pdf

This is much more comprehensive that the cut-down multi-lingual version shipped with the UK product - you would think they'd at least supply it on CD!

I'm guessing that only US users get the Mapinstall DVD - the UK version only includes the USB drivers CD, as the OP mentions.
