Hi Guys

Got my i3 yesterday, first impressions are very good. BUT, (there's always a but) Wink I've loaded MaFt's poi file and when I look for football grounds (I know you don't like footy MaFt) it doesn't give all the available grounds in the 'where to' list (although they are all listed in the cvs file.)

Any ideas why?

Hi Zogman,

The 'football grounds' appear on the screen ok (via custom points) but the list is incomplete. The order they appear in is nearest to present location at the top of the list then second nearest etc but the list only contains approx 20-30 items not the whole list. i.e. From my home location (Watford) I can get Watford, QPR, Norwich, Margate :o etc, but no grounds up north (Man U, Leeds, Wigan Carlise etc). So if I want to go to a match in say Sunderland the ground doesn't appear on the screen list (although it's listed in the cvs file).

willie..just looked at my poi's and mine only go up to a 90 mile distance..i also have all the football clubs listed in my csv file ...i can only assume that the i3 will only show a certain distance for all the football clubs in your area ,so if its not listed on the screen search then you put the town name of the club you want to go to in the 'where to' and when you get closer you can then search for the actual club address....unfortunetely the 'spell' option will not work on poi's loaded via the loader only on waypoints loaded via mapsource..

Thanks Zogman, I'll have to do it the way you suggest.

MaFt..it seems strange that garmins own poi loader software doesnt allow the 'spell ' function to work!

i think it's more an issue with the software on the i3 as oppposed to the poi loader. the poi loader simply copies data from PC to i3 as opposed to adding any functions to the unit.
