Tom Tom GO 700 Blue tooth query

Noticed today that my GO 700 would dial out using blue tooth and my Nokia 6230i phone, but incoming calls went straight to the phone and not the sat nav.

I could only cure this if i connected to the phone again so my question is:

Do you have to connect to phone everytime you switch on the GO 700 as it does appear to find it with blue tooth but apart from the fault ive mentioned.

Im using 5.440 software

Any ideas ??
