cr-100 faulty

i have bought two cr-100's to go with spv-m2000 (same as xda2's).
the problem is when tomtom 5.10 gives a voice command 2 sec's after tomtom says lost gps reciver then it comes back on and starts to replan route if i unplug the speaker cable it works fine if i plug in head phones on the pda it loose the signal even with the cable in the pda just hanging loose will loose signal i rang holux uk who will not help as they where bought off ebay from a uk seller and holux uk have been out of stock for over two months dont know how long they think i should wait.
any help would be great or will have to send them both back and look for differant product.
