HI
ONLY HAD MY ACER N30 5 WEEKS, GOT IT ALL UP AND RUNNING, THEN MY WIFE DECIDES TO LEAN ON IT, NOW THE SCREEN HAS GONE ALL COLOURS, WITH LINES EVERWHERE, MAKING THE STARTUP PAGE UNIDENTIFIABLE.COULD SOMEONE TELL ME IF I WOULD NEED A NEW SCREEN OR IS IT JUST GOOD FOR JUNK.

You will need a new screen, I don't know if Acer have a service outlet in the UK but screens account for a great deal of the PDA's cost so be prepared for a shock at the price, certainly £200 would not be unusual.
On the positive side, your Home Contents insurance may cover either a repair or even a replacement. I have successfully claimed for a cracked screen on an iPAQ some years ago.
