I recently bought a similar battery extender as featured from Ebay, not as square but rectanglular in shape. I am using 4 normal AA Duracell Plus 1.5V (MN1500) batteries and find that the power light comes on on the extender but it doesnt seem to charge my Ipaq...any ideas?
Cheers

I suspect there isn't enough juice left in the batteries. Have you got a battery meter ? |

Cheers for the reply, forgot to mention that they are brand new batteries. Would it be better to use a higher grade of rechargable batteries? Although Duracell are supposed to be pretty reliable. _________________ Ipaq 4150 - Fortuna Clip On BT - Lexar 256mb SD Card / Kingston 256mb SD Card - TomTom Nav 3.05T - Traffic - CheckPOInt 2.0.2.0 - Mapopolis - Memory Map 2004 UK - Brodit Mount - & BT Registry Fix (recommended!) |

four brand new AA batteries should give close to 6V, enough to get the PDA charging. Did you measure the output yet with a multimeter? I have the same battery extender, and it works fine for me, charging the PDA up to three times on one set of batteries. _________________ Lutz
