Hi Brooksey,
Yes you can use the Speed (SaŁety) camera database with TTN 5. If you follow This Link it will take you to the instructions posted by Privateer
Also This Link will take you to the instructions on how to change the useless TTN 5 POI warnings, for warnings that actually mean something. _________________ Mio P550 Mio 3 TTN 6 2GB SD Card, Ipaq 5450: Integral 1Gb SD card, TTN 6, POICapture, PPC 2003 |

Am I right in thinking this effectively sets up a circle around the speed camera and if you cross thru the boundary from any direction, you get the warning? If you set a meaningful warning for a 70mph mobile camera site, e.g. 800 yards, doesn't it result in loads of false warnings when using roads around that area? |

you can set it to warn only if they're on your route _________________ SW

I tried that but the speed camera database isn't accurate enough on position, a camera I go past on my way to work doesn't trigger the warning as it is slightly off the planned route, i.e. on the grass verge. |

hmmm, just tried it with "on route" enabled and it sucks, missed loads of cameras that were set just off the road
maybe we should be more accurate with our submissions and possibly manipulate the current database to place all cameras actually on the road ?
I don't know if TT creates a ring around you but the angle of detection seems to be very wide, I would say 15 to 20 degrees is all you need (that's what I had CheckPOInt set to and it was much better) but TT "seems" to look nearer 90 degrees or at least that's the impression I got

When I try to copy the POI files to the GB folder in my SD card i get the error message "Cannot copy pocketgps_uk_temp". What is the problem. The file is not in use or read only |

Yes another problem is a mobile one on my route is often on a bridge over motorway, which is of course another road so no warning |
