a pal of mine has asked me to install the poi speed camera files to his ique 3600, i have read and had a go at the post made by Strumble some time ago but i have never used an ique before, is the birdwatch.prc file a program ? if so where does one put it ? it would be a great help if someone could give a hand with this poi setup. i have and use an acer n35
so i have no idea what i am doing with this ique !

Basically the iQue is connected through PalmDesktop to a PC.
It is not then transferable to another PC without a complete 'setup' and unlock codes.

Software such as 'Birdwatch' is downloaded to the PC and installed on the iQue via the PalmDesktop automatically at HotSync.

Installing the Speed Camera POI should not be tried until all 'suggested' software is complete[see my previous postings] especially 'wayQue' as without that the iQue cannot cope with 6000 waypoints!!

The easiest way forward would be to use the 'overlay' by Wired
http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=18791

So basically, only attempt it from the original PC that installed the iQue!

Thanks strumble for the reply, looks like you are one jump ahead of me, i
went to install the Mapsorce cd and found it would not work, it keep saying to run the program from the install cd ! Turns out the guy who owns said unit never put the cd on his pc (he's had the thing for about 2 yrs !) so one option is to reg the thing to my pc and see if that works ?
