Tom Tom Mobile version 5

According to the Tom Tom web site the version 5 for mobile is available for upgrade at a price of 79 euros. Before i upgrade, can anyone tell me if this will work with another GPS receiver or only the original Tom Tom receiver. My original had something split on it so i bought a leadtek receiver which works fine, but i thought i read somewhere that version 5 will only work with Tom Tom receiver. Can anybody throw any light on this for me please? Paul

Yeah i noticed that, but as they ship Tom Tom with a receiver i was thinking they meant existing Tom Tom receiver. I was hoping for clarification really
