TomTom Antenna All Weatherproof?

I recently bought the antenna and attached it magnetically on the roof near the tailgate and i noticed how quickly TOMTOM locked on to satellites than before. How i've wired it up means that the antenna will stay there permenantly on the roof. I've got a black car so it doesn't stand out too much. I was just wondering if anyone had any problems with the antenna being fitted outside of the car because it would have to face the ice, snow, sun, wind and rain. TOMTOM says that its fully waterproof on the box.

yes, the external antenna is completely watertight.
