Just done this in my Renault with some white double sided sticky tape - I bought it from a local electrical shop. It sticks well and the aerial is pulling in 9/10 saltellite everytime now.

If you have trouble getting some PM me your address and I'll send you a strip of it.

Why stick it to the windcsreen at all? You should be able to get it working by placing it on the dash in the bottom right or left corner of the windscreen.

There can be many reasons why some owners prefer not to mount the accessory external antenna externally, theft and criminal damage are two.

Then put them back inside the car when not in use, or parked up.

Even when it's fitted with cables hidden under door strips or roof lining, there's always enough cable to bring it back inside car, as i've already done

Did that with the first one - then water got in and I had to send it back to TomTom for replacement. Now it sits on the black dotted area at the top of the windscreen (no water damage here I hope) - it gets 9/10 satellites - will not be nicked in a car-park (as you can bet that the time I forget to put it away is the time it gets nicked) and the cable run is much shorter. All in all one happy TTG user with an External(well internal if you want to be fussy) aerial !

Death comes when your numbers called.

So what happens when your FLYING and the PILOTS number is called.

Hope there is a co-pilot who can land the plane ??
