POI Prompts

Hi all,

A great site which I'm finding extremely useful. :D

I'm considering buying a TTG. Is it possible to only have the audio working with POI's - Could I use it to warn me of a POI without a desitnation being set?

I'm sure the answer is yes but would like it confirmed.

In a nutshell - yes. 'Warn when near' works on all POI's.

In fact not setting the "Warn on route" option is often much better when driving a route. This is because some of the POIs are slightly out of position and may be taken to be on the other side of a dual carriageway and thus not on route.

If you really want to get irritated drive down the A127 in Essex from Eastwood into Southend and play spot the speedcam!

Silly question, how do i turn on this audio prompt for POI's.
