What size memory cards

Hi There
Wonder if you can help

I am looking to get a bigger memory card. I want to install speed cameras and other POIs that I've found - will not need to put on maps of Europe etc.

Can anyone edvise me on how much memory I should go for? Will 256 be ok?

Also, will any SD card work or do they need to be a particular type?

If you delete some of the voices that you don't use using the cd provided then you will be able to install the speed camera database, latest updates and still have plenty of room for POI. I personally have a 256MB with quite a few POI, MRE (Major Roads Of Europe) and still have plenty of room. There are some SD card that will not work with the GO. There is a thread in this forum somewhere.

I have removed all but the two English voices. Added the Major Roads of Europe map from the CD and installed lots of PoI's including the (large) consolidated postcode PoI from Tim O'Donnell and the speed cameras.

Total 234 Mb.
