Do the cameras have to be in separate categories, pocketgps this and pocketgps that - is there a way to rename them and put them into a new category, with a simpler name (such as 'camera')?
Sorry if this is a really stupid question. |

You can use a tool like Dumpov2, and then adjust the text to your liking. (Don't touch the coordinates!) Then use Makeov2 to get them back into the required format. _________________ Lutz

Cheers for that - typing dumpov into Google took me straight to ov2tools.zip at tomtom support. I will try it now. Thanks, and merry Christmas.
(Very impressed with speed and quality of response!) :D |

The TTGo derives the category name from the ov2 filename, so you just need to rename it (and its associated BMP file) to what you want, before downloading to the unit. I call mine gatsos.ov2, redlights.ov2 etc. |

Great, thanks Zuke, I did it your way - that seems to be the easiest option and no risk of inadvertantly messing up the coordinates. |

I put a * in front of the names I want to keep at the top of the list. |
