Maps of Western Europe on CD

Has anyone got Maps of Western Europe cd. Thinking of getting myself a copy in the New Year. I currently have v3.14 map of Great Britain. The cd also has a map of the U.K. on it. Would I be correct in assuming that it will be the more up to date version? Anyone know?

I asked TomTom which version of the UK maps would be supplied on the Europe CD and the separately sold UK map SD card and they basically wouldn't say. The comment was something of the lines of it depending on their stock situation at the time. Don't assume that it will be the more up to date version. Apart from the M6 toll road being present on v390, which is believed to be the latest version of the mapping data, the differences between the map versions are not clear. I would say shrouded in secrecy, but i've been gently flamed for saying that in these forums, so i'd best not go there again..........

I know that replying to your own posts is bad form and all that, but over on the Expansys forum there is somebody who bought the 4 CD set of Europe maps on 27th December and has ended up with the v314 maps, so in answer to the original poster, you can definitely not assume that buying the SD cards or Europe CDs will get you the latest map version!
