Tomtom Go Vs. Garmin Quest

Been using Tomtom on a PDA since version 1 but recently sold up as my new car has factory satnav fitted.

I now need a new system for my wife (she wouldn't use the PDA as too fiddly/complicated etc) and was thinking of getting Tomtom Go for her.

I've have noticed though that PC world are selling the Quest at £390 which seems very cheap. (Ive found Go on the net for £420)

Just wondered how they compared as I notice the Quest uses Navteq maps and so might solve the Tomtom mapping/lookup problems?

The other alternatice is a car stereo based system (Blaupunkt E1 etc) and I also wonder if anyone knows how these compare too. I do feel the portable system would be more useful though.

The lookup issues will certainly be a lot less when going for NAVTEQ maps. Quest is about the size of a SmartPhone screen in size, so she may find the screen a little too small. I guess it depends on how close she has it to her in relation to the windscreen.
