Updated maps for TOM TOM GO

Any idea how/when/likely cost TOM TOM will issue updated UK maps. Seen lot's of posts regarding faults in maps and would like to know this before purchase.

Also for info 412.98 at Dabs is the cheapest I've seen - anyone seen cheaper Question

Unless there will be a desastrous amount of wrong map data you should expect a map update not earlier than late next year.

Note: Most of the problems/outdated map data issues were related to TTN 3 maps and not TT GO maps.

TomTom don't have an update policy for their maps nor do their competitors.

In the past updates have been provided as part of an application upgrade i.e. TTN2 - TTN3 and these tended to occur yearly. On these occasions, the cost has been between £30 and £50 for registered users and included the latest available map data.

How TomTom decide to provide map updates to GO owners is yet to be announced but it will likely be along similar lines.
