Removing Traffic plugin

How do I remove the traffic plugin? I used it for the trial period and was not impressed so would like to remove it cleanly, how do you do this as I can only remove the Traffic Wizard from Remove programmes on the PDA

Hi omaruk,

You need TTNav3.03, which is the latest version of TTNav but without Traffic. It can be downloaded from the TomTom website.

According to TOMTOM

"This update cannot be used when you installed TomTom Traffic plug-in. Please go to MyTomTom and click on the traffic section to find the right download (this download includes the 3.03 version and the updates for traffic)."

Now what do I do?

Hi omaruk,

If you download TTNav3.03 then you will remove Traffic. That’s what the message is warning you about, and that’s what you want to do.

I was in the same situation. I had TTNav3.04T for the trial. I didn’t think that it was good enough to spend €49.00 a year and have to pay GPRS charges on top of that price. I therefore downgraded to TTNav3.03.

Be warned that you will probably lose any favourites. If this is a problem then save your favourites as a POI before you downgrade.

Thanks Privateer, I guessed the ssame as you and just went ahead, and DOH I lost my favourites :x
