Virgin have recently got GPRS working and using it direct from my Nokia 6230 works fine. However, when I try to link it to my Pocket PC (h4150) so i can use Traffic it doesn't seem to want to connect. It tells me to activate my GPRS connection (which it is!). Perhaps I'm putting something in wrong.
I did phone Virgin, but they were unsure if it would work. I've also sent a mail to Tom-Tom but have not heard anything back from them (which seems the usual, reading some of the other posts).

Virgin still don't have a full GPRS service. It's only what they call "Enhanced WAP". You can't use it as a GPRS modem to allow stuff like email or Web browsing from a PC, and I guess the same holds true for Traffic. As I already had a spare phone I got an additional Orange pay as you go SIM so that I could make occasional use of GPRS. _________________ Kam
