Tom Tom Traffic information useless

Hi,

Today i thought would be a god test for tomtom traffic, as its the start of the holiday season. Generally during this weekend the roads into the southwest are very busy with a lot of delays - especially in cornwll where the A38 meets with the A30, along Innis downs and through to Indian Queens. Traffic master has been reporting serious delays both east and westbound all morning whilst tomtom (or ITIS) have not reported a single incident in that area. What is the point in paying for a subscription when the information you get is useless? I have written an email to tomtom complaining about this. Basically you would be better off purchasing traffic-I for your pda for the same cost that provides you with trafficmasters data.

Has anyone else had similar issues and reported them to tomtom. In my opinion they have some serious wrk to do before they start charging or this service.

May sound silly...but do you know if the traffic delays where actually there or not?

They were definately there - got stuck in it!!! Should have used trafficmaster instead.

There have been many occasions when this section of road has had serious delays. I have never seen it reported on ITIS (tomtom).
