No data transfer between BTA01 & GPSMAP60CS to Ipaq 4700

Whatever I try I am unable to transfer data from the Garmin GPS to my Ipaq 4700 using the BTA01 bluetooth connector. I have had excellent service from PC-Mobile who have replaced both the device and cable but it has not helped. I do have a bluetooth connection between the two devices but when I select NMEA on the GPS and tried virtually every setting on the PDA (TomTom 3.07) there is no transfer of data. Also tried connecting to WinFast and MemoryMap without success. My GlobalSat BT308 connects to all three programs OK albeit with a 5 minute wait to get a fix each morning! Can anyone make any suggestions as to what else I can do?
