Format On a SD card?

Hi
I am new to here
Can anyone help me out what type of format should i use on a 512mb SD card?
cause i have no idea, i want to format my old 512mb SD card.
Please help me out.

Most of the time FAT16 is just fine. FAT32 may sometimes be faster but that's highly subjective

Thaks a lot for your help so say if i format the 512mb SD card use Fat 16 cluster size is 8kb and back up fat
Dose this set up right?

sounds ok. you can also use a greater cluster size since most of the times the card will contain big files.
