PGPS database causing satnav to freeze

Have a Nuvi 1310t had the freezing problem at 90% of mobile cams on motorway locations on a regular Yorkshire to Berkshire journey.As previously stated tapping back to the map screen unfroze it.I read another thread about Garmins own cyclops cams may cause part of the problem.I deleted the cyclops free trial file and the garmin speed cams file.
On my latest trip down South- no freezes on my return back up North just one cam caused a freeze.
Hoprfully thats sorted my particular problem.

Further feedback since posting last week. I'd already deleted the cyclops file and tried numerous tweaks and settings. Decided to try the Ash10 camera manager (which creates gpx files for POILoader to use) and since then have not had a single freeze on the Nuvi 1340.

Seems to have solved the issue for me - might be worth a try for others if facing similar lock-ups. Thanks Ash10

We have a Garmin nuvi 710 and we have also been getting the freezing problem.

Although in our case, I have not associated the freezing with passing any particular cameras. Rather, I had assumed it was to do with a recent maps update (we bought a lifetime map update - a good price on Amazon!).

After reading this thread I'm now beginning to wonder if it is down to some POIs I downloaded some months back.

I had noted that I was getting some different speed camera listings accumulating, but had deleted most of those already.
