|
|
Hello there, my XL Live is rebooting a lot at the moment, and I have lost my custom car icon and it has reverted back to the triangle. This in itself is not a problem but I wonder if there are other corruptions which cause it to reboot all the time.
Any advice as to what is the best thing to do?
Ta
edit: and while I'm at it how can I correct a street which is incorrectly marked as one way which is in fact two way. I see unblock access for cars or reverse direction, but not to correct it to two way? |

1. You lose car cursor if you use 2D view (reboots sometimes revert to 2D).
2. Download and run Clearflash Tool. Run it at least three times (and be aware that it often doesn't say it has done anything, so personally I just re-run it and re-run it until I get fed up!!!). This will probably stop the rebooting, but also probably not for ever, so keep a copy of Clearflash to run again next time. It's a TomTom "Issue/Challenge/etc" which they are unlikely ever to fix as the model is no longer very current.
3. Menu page 2...
Map corrections...
Correct a map error...
Reverse Traffic Direction...
On Map...
Find the street on map and select Done...
Keep going with the prompts until you have added/deleted whatever.
This is a "temporary" fix which will be applied to your map (and which you can Share if you wish). You may lose this change if/when you upgrade to a new map. _________________ Dennis
