did you install gps 3.03? when i installed 3.01 from upgrade cd then 3.04t, i was left with gps 3.00. i tried it and as soon as i'm out on the road, it froze. downloaded and installed gps 3.03 (available as a separate setup in tomtom support). no more problems.

As it's a 2210. how about a full backup to SD or CF, saves carrying anything. I'm using a 512 M CF to carry maps etc and use Sprite Backup to archive/restore data to the 512 M SD card, which I keep in a "pocket" within the case. This allows me to restore to any previous installation without carrying anything around. eg TTN3 or TTTraffic with/without Postcode, GPSAssist, Safety Camera database etc. Very useful and with small memory cards costing little and backups being less than 10Mb a shot (compressed) I wouldn't have it any other way.

Due to the gps jacket i use not getting switched off when the power power butten is pressed. (Resulting in complete hard reset power loss in 12 hours) I ended up having to do a CF backup. Now when i switch it on, takes 2 mins to restore and get going after these incidents. (I now remove the jacket after use but it's nice to know i can restore really quickly.
