|
|
My friewnd has just purchased a new TT1 and we are unable to see the moble cameras.
We can see statics. Have checked and TT1 is set to warn when within 15 secs.
Can any one advise how to see the mobiles. They are also not warning when passing.
Have checked and as far as can see the latest file is installed.
Thanks for help. |

If you tap the screen then tap (change preferences) and then (warn when near POI) then scroll down the list and make sure you can see the mobile cameras there. If so then make sure you select them to set up the warnings. If you dont see them then can you tell me what database you downloaded.
I am way ahead of myself here. What cameras is it. TomTom or PGPS because if it is TomTom ones you need a wireless data connection to get the mobile cameras. _________________ NEW Tomtom GO 500 (hope it is good)

I believe you have to buy a subscription from TomTom in order to get what they describe as the "active" camera list. For around the same price you can get ALL the cameras locations from this site. _________________ Gerry

Confirmed. TomTom's own database does not show all reported mobile sites, only some assumed list of "live" sites reported that day by people with a subscription and a phone hooked up.
Can't see it being ANY use myself! |

I would also like to add that when i had the wireless connection to get mobile speed cams with TomTom (before i got my head examined) the nearest one to me was 37 miles away and i pass a regular one 2 minutes down the road and another few before the next town.
And Yes, we have them exactly in the right place here. _________________ NEW Tomtom GO 500 (hope it is good)
