ik haer the postie walking up the drive now, crunching through the sharp frost. I wait like an excited child ecpectantly by the letter box..........................................................................................................................damn a gas bill!

Received an e-mail from Garmin this morning saying that my previous order (and a number of others) which had gone through OK had become corrupted and therefore asking me to re-enter my order again. Has gone through Ok .......... I think

Use Firefox 2, it comes with a spell checker, great for fora like this.

On topic has anyone had their disk yet???

i dof my cap and tug my forelock in respect of your expensive education. (although i never really trust wikipedia, i double double checked in the good old paper oxford dictionary!) Laughing

I'll admit i never considered that! Could have been embarrassing for me, especially as an Emeritus Professor in the Mathematics of Quantum Neutrino Fields, Kings College, Oxford.....

I have just been on the website and managed to order my disk 1st time with no problems.

I have been trying everyday for 2 weeks now. Appears they have fixed the problem.

I have got the e-mail confirmation too, saying it will be with me in 7 - 10 working days, so early January I will have it hopefully!

Everyone should give it a go now!
