Easy...
Take a recorder onto a plane and wait for them to switch the seatbelt warning on. Rolling Eyes

Actually, good question.
I THINK that if you use POIExtend http://www.tomtomsatnav.info/poiw.html it will let you unbundle the original data.chk file into its constituent .oggs

Download and install the application to your PC. Dock the device to the computer and locate the data.chk file for TTN it is located in program files/ Navigator folder on the Go units the file is in the root of the card/ drive. Either copy the data.chk file to your desktop, or a folder where you know it can stay.
Open up the POIExtend utility on the PC, press the "Load" button top right, locate the data.chk file on your PC. Now you can select any of the sounds in the list and play them through the PC speakers, or press the S button to save the individual file in OGG format.
Note to anyone reading this, the instructions above are not explaining how to use POIExtend for its intended use - just how to extract single audio files from the device to the PC - Mike

Thanks Mike, I was just about to download and install it on my work PC, to remind myself how to do it. You've saved me a job! Smile
Unfortunately, I've now got to find some other time-wasting exercise to keep me awake 'till going home time!

although i managed to get my datachk unbundle, i couldn't get any sound at all from the polite 1-3 sounds, it was an empty file of 1kb.

still glad that i got 3/4 though.

The only other way would be to plug the audio output from your unit into the PC and capture the audio this way - Just what I am doing at the moment to be honest ! - Mike

Likewise, I can't get a sound from any of the Polites, nor save them as an ogg file.
