have any effect on sat nav,s ?. with winter getting ever nearer doe,s fog,snow or heavy rain interfere with the signal as i understand that certain windscreens impare reception ......

Moisture content will attenuate the GPS signal - but a modern GPS unit should be able to cope quite easily - lets face it we seldom get blizzards in the UK. Mike

thanx mike for reply , it was just that certain weather conditions affect sat/tv signal and i wondered if the same would happen to sat nav unit .........
