TT5, Axim X51v, GlobalSat SD-502 - ANYONE?

I'm having a bear of a time getting this combo to work, so can anyone using this hardware/software combo, or knowing enough the program and/or hardware (running WM5) can give me some pointers.

Seems like a lot of confusing COM port options, what with the GPS INFO utility, the GPS Program Utility, the TT COM limited selections... I've had to fall back onto Mapopolis 3.27 which works on COM1 and COM4 @ 57600 baud even though TT tells you to not go over 4800 baud.

My TT is version 5.10 (just bought it last week) and the retailer tells me I should maybe try the 5.2 patch. Maybe that'll get it going. My Axim is at ROM A06 and is otherwise incredible.
