Its seems clear that the charge must soon increase from the initial £2. That fee will be more than eroded by the adimistrative nightmare self inflicted by "The Team". |

Well Mullet and me makes two...
As he says, just seems like it will be a major administrative headache, making it more trouble than £2 worth. |

We are currently getting the subscription forum code into place. When this is done we will let you know and will start enabling the database contributors. |
Thanks Mike for clearing that up :D . |

I never had my TomTom to hand but used Autoroute to plot the location of two mobile sites in Edinburgh that I had been meaning to submit for a while.
No offence but you could have used this or one of the on-line map sites to work out the location.
Still interested to know about Mobile sites and if they qualify - I think they should but as has been said before they would need verified to avoid fake submissions.
Perhaps if they have been submitted by several "members" that can be verified as independant users and not some e-bay feedback type scam?
Of course I ask as it was two mobiles I sent in trying to get membership... |

I submitted the most Northerly mobile cams on the database, can't see them coming up here to verify these positions, dare say you win some and loose some.. |

Been busy with the Xmas I, like many members didn't realise there was a deadline until it passed.
There should have been more notices\stickies in forums and, in my opinion should have started in January and run for at least two weeks.
What is annoying is that I had cameras ready to be sent in.
Another upset is that some have just been members only for a VERY short while, sent in a camera and now they have membership for life!!!
Us OLDISH members got to pay.
Is it fair? |

I suppose in some way I can understand why they are going to charge, although I do not agree with it. Some say its only £2 per month, but when you are retired its a lot. I have great pleasure driving and using my Sat Nav but as ever what you enjoy is going to cost you eventially. I for one will probably only update twice a year from now on. |

Does anyone know how to contact the Pocket GPS Team as I have several questions outstanding which they seem unwilling to answer and there are no contact details (that I can see).
Or are they 'professional' as in foul? |

How/when individuals know if they quialfy for the "free" subscription??
I submitted a few "changes" (ie data-base says it a mobile, but its a Gatso, Speed limit on camera XYZ is 30mph, a more accurate position for camera WXY is THIS etc etc)
I submitted a couple of mobile camera's, a couple of TEMP GATSO's (Along with everyone else who was using the M25 at the Enfield Roadworks)....
I'd just like to know if I qualify??

I have found it easy to contact them using the facilities within the 'forum' and I received quick, and personal replies. |
