I was really annoyed by this article on the BBC watchdog programme.
I have had my TT300 since the Summer and only ONCE has it told me the incorrect amount of exits on a roundabout in Winchester (near the hospital).
The device is a god send, and with the additional Safety camera data provided by this great website...well I dont go anywhere without it now.
It just proved to me that the watchdog programme is going beyond gimicky and is now filling the minutes with misdirected and unproven rubbish. Has TT responded to this? I wouldnt be happy if I was the TT director. |

I watched this program with some interest as I was about to purchase satnav and was trying to make up my mind whether to go for a Navman or a Tom Tom. I decided to get the Tom Tom Go 500, which arrived yesterday and was used today for the first time. I admit that I tested it on a route that I knew, but it took me where I wanted to go with ease and without any problems at all, even recalculating my route immediately when I took a short cut that I knew about.
I really do not understand what this woman was doing - she must be really stupid if she cannot understand the Tom Tom instructions - I found the spoken instructions and the maps excellent.
I also had no problems picking up a signal with the Tom Tom in the front window of my Ford Focus, which is a heated screen. The signal strength never went below 4 bars.
Excellent product. |

Agree with mamma
I have had my ttg500 for a while now and it has been faultless.
Maybe watchdog should have investigated the circumstances in more depth before going on air.
I would have no hesitation in recommending a tt to anyone. _________________ Garmin Nuvi 2699lmt

I think the A to Z was probably too complicated for her. |

One person who can't find their own backside using a mirror - let alone a GPS to get to the corner shop.
...... and all of a sudden TomTom are in the doghouse. Talk about a biased view.
When will people understand that it won't necessarily take you the "perfect" route. If you know the area you will know a better route - it's supposed to get you there when you don't
TT has it's faults but it's not as bad as that. _________________ Thanks,
