Hi People.
I am not sure if a gadget yet exists that would meet my needs as I am trying to consolidate various bits of equipment into one.
Currently I have a hands-free Panasonic mobile phone fitted to my car (non-bluetooth) which is near the end of its life
I also have a work Blackberry, which could be used as a phone, but I prefer the separate phone because I can use it in the car.
I also have a Tom Tom Go for navigation, but because it is fiddly to set up and remove, I only tend to use it when I am driving somewhere I don't know how to get to, losing the benefit of the safety camera alerts in everyday use.
I would like to have a single unit that provides mobile phone, email connectivity via blackberry compatibility (push technology) and sat nav (inc safety camera database and traffic) all in one, that I can buy an in car mount for to charge the phone while driving, or with a bluetooth car kit.
I also don't want to be carrying a brick with me everywhere I go.
I know all of the above will be available one day, but is it now? - any advice gratefully received!
Cheers,
Ali |

O2's XDA PocketPC Phone has Blackberry software so with TomTom v5 Installed, a BT GPS and a car cradle that would cover all your requirements.
Blackberry functionality is only available on the two Blackberry handsets and O2's XDA's so it's a limited choice! _________________ Darren Griffin |

Sounds good, thanks Darren.
I think there is an XDA 3 coming out soon - does that offer any advantages?
