I've had the same when driving around in the mountains here... think the TT picks up reflected signals, or just has a weak signal and can't quite pin you down as accurately as it would like to. Slight ...

Not sure how portuguese addresses work, but it should just be as in the UK... enter city, then street (including the rua I would guess in your case), then it will ask for the number or crossing.

The new plus maps work fine on my classic....

I get the same problem over here - a lot of addresses are Zurich, but in TTG's maps they are listed under the suburb, not the city. And there's no postcode support over here!

You might be able to pick them up when you're over there maybe??? Depending on where you're headed I guess...

so tomtom maps are officially sh1te and severly outdated then. even a navman icn510 bought last year has more upto date maps than my tomtom go 300...

the old maps are old. the new plus maps are... ...

Or you can add it as a favourite.... think the option is "GPS Position" when you go into "add new favourite".

The new MOWE is not available at the present time.

They are if you already have the old MOWE and upgrade as mentioned above for €59.

Probably as a separate application... a map editing suite for adding POIs, correcting errors such as junctions which are now "no right turn", one-way streets or whatever.

I hit the same problem with a 1GB card trying to load all the maps needed to get me from Switzerland to the UK

Got CH-AT-DE-PL-CZ loaded, then did GB, then tried to add France but there is not enou ...

I use a Sandisk 1GB card with no probs whatsoever, though that is on a TTGo classic....

Ah. Perhaps I could put the TTGo on the rear parcel shelf and look at it through the rear view mirror. That would do it I think. Except it doesn't get it wrong all of the time... Hmmm.....
