I can't restore my TomTom, I backed it up using tomtom homeAND onto an external disk.
When I try it says something about an error not to and when I copy the files over it says theres an error too.

Its not to do with the docking station(the icon is 'ghosted' while docked) and as a few people have said its doesn't appear to be turned on(ALG) as opposed to just not having seen it working.

| Yeah it says 730, I really don't want to buy new maps. It should work as its 730, would resetting the unit help? When you update the TomTom for free is it just map corrections that are changed? |

Haven't got my 930T with me, but if I remember, you can turn lane guidance off and on in the control panel options.
I tried the lane guidance button in the preferences menu and it says;
