Sometimes on large roundabouts it appears to get confused where it is and goes into recalculating mode which is annoying as the popup blocks the screen.

perhaps it got too cheap, and people are buying it rather than their expensive models. Perhaps the i5 will replace it.

yup, first time can take up to an hour, and needs to be stationary if possible with a clear view of the sky.
